As a Business Development Manager, I develop new business and maintain existing business in the SMB market (e.g., $60 thousand to $2 million, etc.) range. This position promotes business relationships internally (e.g., UPS Package, Sales Service Centers, etc.) to identify opportunities for sharing business leads and conducting joint sales calls. I support customers to ensure committed offerings (e.g., accurate billing, shipping times, pricing, etc.) are delivered.

Assisted the Central Region of the UPS Forwarding Business Development division. I covered 3 sales managers and 26 account executives in providing needed information for themselves and for the customers. Below are a few things I handled on a daily basis:• Provided support for Area Sales Managers and District Sales Manager-Central U.S.• Created ad-hoc and marketing revenue generating reports for the region.• Coordinated travel arrangements, conference calls, customer visits and appointments.• Prepared sales and marketing reports tracking revenue generated and initiatives along with assisted in preparing Quarterly Business Reviews for customers.• Maintained district’s book of business and activities from sales team.

• Created and provided required reports to the customer; as well as customer support and excellent customer correlation.• Managed a 3 person account and provided assistance on a daily basis.• Verified inbound paperwork, data entry, and manifested outbound orders.• Researched and resolved inventory issues including hazmat material.• Processed part purchasing, inbound receiving, inventory counts, and RMA’s.• Completed daily productivity reports including Profit and Loss.• Performed inventory audits for local UPS facilities.
