Pittsburgh Girls Study-Environmental Influences on Health Outcomes (PGS-ECHO) Principal Investigators: Alison Hipwell, Ph.D., ClinPsyD; Kate Keenan, Ph.D.; Irene Tung, Ph.D.Psychophysiology Team Lead. - Spearheaded data quality projects using R, SPSS, and Mindware software, resulting in an updated 112-page heart rate variability (HRV) and electrodermal activity (EDA) data cleaning protocol. This protocol has been shared with Pitt Psychiatry and UChicago labs to increase data cleaning transparency in the psychophysiology field. - Created tables and figures using R to present best data cleaning practices to PIs and HRV & EDA experts. Such infographics have been used in the lab's multi-million-dollar grant proposals. - Facilitated meetings with the PGS-ECHO Data Team to troubleshoot and create user-friendly SPSS data reliability scripts. - Ran monthly reliability reports and pulled reliability files via SPSS. - Trained new research associates on collecting and cleaning adult, child, and infant HRV and EDA data. Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) Team Lead. - Used Matlab to generate data quality reports for fNIRS consultants and PIs.- Exported and managed fNIRS data via Teams, OneDrive, and Excel.- Trained research associates on collecting infant fNIRS data and developed an associated fNIRs training manual. - Performed monthly maintenance on fNIRS-related equipment. Movisens (mobile device used to collect HRV data) Lead Data Manager. - Used R and Movisens Data Analyzer software to analyze data quality differences between lab and home visits to PIs.- Prepped and edited raw HRV Movisens data for data analyses. - Troublehshooted data quality issues and updated training manuals for best data collection practices.
