As an aspiring Real Estate Agent and Interior Designer, I love anything and everything to do with houses and the processes behind buying and styling. I am currently completing a double degree of Bachelor of Business/ Bachelor of Design at Griffith University on the Gold Coast campus; my majors are Real Estate (business major) and Interior Design (design major). The passion I have towards houses drives me in my studies to strive for excellence and to gain deep knowledge into the topics surrounding houses. Ever since I went along to my first open home and auction 4 years ago, I have been hooked onto the luxury of houses. I was often found in classes looking at million dollar listings as I loved viewing the best houses possible. I have great dreams of one day leading my own real estate and interior design agency, that does the best of both worlds.In the past I have been a netball coach and mentored young children in the sport I love. From playing at a high performance level, it has given me the understanding of what it means to be driven in what you love. Leadership and communication skills were deeply enhanced during my period of coaching as conveying what the drills were to younger children often could prove difficult. The persistence to showing up every week and patience of working with children was a great skill I have now embraced.I am currently employed at Calvin Klein as a Retail Assistant. Within my job over the past two and a half years I have had the ability to learn POS (Point Of Sale) systems and protocols, how to handle cash, the ability to adapt in changing environments, enhancing my leadership skills, time management and many other skills learnt on the job. I have found that by creating a positive environment, work can become enjoyable.
