I am a Development Director at Launch It, a great charity that supports young people who are facing barriers to start their own business and gain skills. I have been with Launch It since 2008, (originally London Youth Support Trust,) first in the capacity of Centre Manager at the Tottenham Green Enterprise Centre, then from 2011-2017 as their Fundraising Manager and have now undertaken the fundraising and development of our new charities and centres as we grow across the UK.Launch It was started in 2000 . The charity has supported over 11,000 young people to start their own business and we currently work with in the region of 250 people per year. The charities is expanding it's reach and we now have 4 centres in London, and sister charities in Dundee, Paisley and Kent. Prior to working at Launch It, I worked as a Business Manager at the Princes Trust supporting disadvantaged young people to start up in business. I then continued to volunteer on The Princes Trust launch group and mentoring for ten years until late 2018.Previous positions include: Chief Executive Simply Taste Ltd, (Crew catering), Office Manager SP Holdings plc, Event Manager British Institute of Facilities Management, (BIFM) I am married with three children.
