Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) is a leader in the field of Oriental medicine, providing exemplary patient care, education, and research. As the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources, I have the privilege of overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the organization, as well as the development and implementation of human resources policies and practices that align with the organization's mission and vision. With over 15 years of experience in human resources management, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the OCOM team, having previously supported multiple campuses across the West Coast as a Regional Human Resources Business Partner at The Art Institutes.My core competencies include employee benefits, employee relations, project management, employee engagement and retention, which enable me to facilitate the integration of the organization's goals and values with the needs and expectations of the staff and faculty. I am passionate about advancing the field of Oriental medicine and supporting the growth and development of the highly skilled and compassionate practitioners that OCOM educates. I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Concordia University Chicago and Argosy University respectively. I am a collaborative, supportive, and empowering leader who strives to create a positive and inclusive work environment for everyone at OCOM.
