Develop annual strategic working plans to accomplish Georgia CTSA alliance goals and objectives to monitor progress toward hub achievement across four partner institutions - Emory University, Morehouse School of Medicine, Georgia Institute of Technology, and University of Georgia; Track and maintain internal database of 3,000+ publication outputs from supported research investigators; Drafted portions of and helped coordinate resubmission of alliance grant valued at $40+ million; Execute quantitative and qualitative research on services and support outcomes provided by 16 different alliance programs; Design, build, and maintain alliance website, weekly e-newsletter, and programmatic graphic design materials.

Through live and on-demand coaching sessions, playbooks, and workshops, Rising Innovators are equipped with the know-how to successfully navigate their career transition.

Assisted in quantitative and qualitative research through recruitment, data collection, data cleaning, and analysis in current tobacco control and cancer survivorship studies; Collaborated as a co-author on a systematic review project related to tobacco use in minority populations.

Lead the development of evaluation methods used to measure the intermediate and long-term effectiveness of establishing a health equity leadership network (HELN) across CDC CIOs, divisions, and programs; Designed and created the official HELN infographic used for promotion and communications purposes.

Observed and documented 30 relationships between mothers and infants during the postpartum period to study onset of postpartum depression, breastfeeding techniques, and infant well-being; Delivered clinical research testing such as Treir Social Stress Test, infant care, task backup, Actiheart, and data analysis.

Connected 60+ clinic patients to health resources ranging from ongoing treatment for chronic illness conditions to permanent affordable primary care providers such as Piedmont Health Services and UNC Family Medicine; Communicated with Spanish-speaking patients to discuss current insurance status, financial ability to pay for care and medications, and alternative primary/specialty care options with clinic patients.

Promoted 3 times throughout the course of employment to senior-level position of Zone Manager at the student recreation center; Administered training and development to 22 staff members on efficient patron gym safety to prevent injury during use of exercise equipment or during facility emergencies; Headed event operations and reported shift details, facility/equipment problems, patron feedback, and employee report summaries to senior recreation staff.

Designed a variety of unique hands-on educational resources about neuroscience for students ages 5-18 years old for use in school or in special event settings; Presented 30+ hours of activities at science outreach events and schools across North Carolina, and collaborated with other organizations such as the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science and the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.

Presented five workshops on career-related topics and professional development to UNC’s student body; Assisted UCS senior counselors by working at career fairs, facilitating mock interviews, and conducting resume workshops for students.
