Amber Harding is a CICE Learning Specialist at Lambton College. Colleagues describe her as "Amber is a CICE Learning Specialist and a colleague of mine that assisted as a Learning Specialist in my Indigenous Wholistic Practices course at Lambton College in the Fall of 2023. In the Winter semester of 2024 Amber also assisted with, facilitated and co-produced a children’s book focused on Indigenous practices in connection with a Photography student’s Co-Op Placement at Lambton College. Amber is an exceptionally hardworking, compassionate, and skilled Learning Specialist. Her expertise while advocating for students in my classroom was fundamental to her students’ success. She is a kind, focused young woman with experience in the Social Services area collaborating with individuals with developmental disabilities. She also has a background as a Pre-School Teacher and an Employment Consultant where she participated in client job coaching, job hunting and interview preparation for her clients. She has experience in Respite work and in a Group Home setting, as well. She is an amazing role model for young adults and an exceptional collaborator with a passion for advocating for individuals with barriers and developmental disabilities. Amber would be a joyful addition to any employer’s organization."
