Lead a team of five experienced individuals to manage all sponsored programs at Nicklaus Children's Health System, the region's only hospital dedicated solely to serving the needs of the pediatric population. Worked closely with the Director and institutional stakeholders to create the office in 2016. Increased Nicklaus Children's Health System's proposal volume over 200% in year after office was established. Oversee grants from Federal, State, Local, and Foundation sources from application to close out. Manage post-award functions for a grants portfolio of over $20M. Review and negotiate all agreements (and budgets, as applicable) related to research, including, but not limited to, clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, and data use agreements. Currently responsible for a queue of over 150 contracts in varying stages of negotiation. Responsible for creating and maintaining a tracking mechanism to ensure all research-related agreements are effectively and efficiently reviewed, negotiated, routed, and fully executed. Manage the research-related financial conflict of interest process across Nicklaus Children's Health System.

Review and negotiate contract terms for industry-sponsored clinical research studies, including complex IP and indemnification terms. Review and negotiate terms of awards and contracts from sponsoring agencies (federal, state and local agencies as well as foundations). Create and issue subcontracts to third parties. Manage between sixty and one hundred contracts at a time. Assumed a pivotal role in interoffice merge, including assisting in development of new SOPs.

Prepared for and attended Social Security and Disability Hearings, as well as conducted client interviews and drafted complaints and memoranda.

Pursuant to SJC Rule 3:03, regularly represented the city of Boston in code enforcement proceedings in Housing Court.

Researched and drafted legal memoranda for several cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and health insurance, as well as engaged in policy research regarding student health insurance and cost containment.

Conducted legal research and prepared bench memoranda for several judges and drafted judicial opinions on a variety of civil cases.
