I always knew that I was destined to help people, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it. At the age of 12, I wrote myself a note stating to "always remember where you came from whenever you become President." My younger self really did hold a glimpse of the future.While my political aspirations waned the sentiment stayed the same. I forever want to make a difference in the lives of those I come in contact with. Whether we are co-workers, strangers or friends, I can assure you I will always give you my all to ensure success. -I put the customer at the center of all that I do-My gut instinct is good, but I prefer to lead with data-I love to win but helping a team is better-I'm constantly learning cause I never settle-Through story telling, I am able to motivate.This has led me to great success in my 10+ year career. These skills have navigated my career to multiple roles, from customer success to program management, each role has taught me something new. My years of professional work has created opportunities to deliver and provide experiences in a collaborative culture. The most important lesson learned: the success of a program is not the sole responsibility of one individual, but in fact, depends on leadership that reflects a collaborative style and a team that is mission driven. I am proud to be a leader and a team member.Outside of my corporate job, I started my own real estate investment company. It was a way for me to jump outside my own comfort zone to see if I would sink or swim. Luckily, I have soared. My company is a true residual income with little work needed from me. Much to my surprise it has also been a great avenue for me to give back. I am able to help people, who need someone to give them a chance. I was able to use an empty lot I acquired to put up a blessings box, which holds nonperishables for anyone who may need them. I believe when you are blessed, it's important to give back. When I'm not working I enjoy being a mom to 3 amazing kids. Nothing as pushed me harder to succeed than becoming a mom. I will go to the ends of the earth to show them hard work pays off and that your light can shine just as bright without dimming someone else.
