Helped expand the brand into a new customer segment by conceptualizing and launching a new contemporary line with an elevated, modern aesthetic. Led a team of designers in producing seasonal collections featuring soft wovens, outerwear, tailoring, and knitwear. Worked closely with founder and VP of Design to shape creative direction, brand aesthetic, seasonal concepts, colors, and prints. Distributed the line to luxury retailers including Bergdorf, Nordstrom, and Net-a-Porter. Managed calendar deliverables with product and fabric teams in the US and Hong Kong. Guided the technical design team in creating tech packs, mockups, technical drawings, and muslins to ensure accuracy in design intent. Partnered with patternmakers and overseas factories to develop prototypes, SMS samples, and final production pieces. Additionally led design on special projects, capsule collections, and celebrity collaborations for the brand.Introduced the line at New York Fashion Week, receiving favorable write-ups from Vogue, WWD, New York Magazine, and The Impression.

Led design of woven dresses, skirts, and tops for 140 retail stores worldwide representing 40% of total women’s business. Guided all aspects of the design process from concept through production and in-store merchandising. Integral in doubling dress sales within four years.Directed a team of designers in creating four seasons and 13 deliveries annually, leading all creative and technical aspects. Worked with creative director to determine print direction, color palette, and seasonal concepts. Responsible for providing tech packs, muslins, and mockups to factories, and traveling internationally to source fabrics, embellishments, and techniques.Partnered with technical and product teams to ensure garments reflected design intent, product integrity, and costing parameters. Collaborated with visual team and design leadership to merchandise products at the store level, with emphasis on creating an impactful customer and brand experience.

Supported founder in developing collections from concept through completion, creating cohesive looks for multiple runway shows and pre-collection presentations per year. Sketched and planned outlines, working with pattern-makers and sample room to create muslins and finished garments. Served as point person between Anna, sample room, and production team to translate design concepts. Sourced and developed ideas for embroideries, embellishments, and trims with local and Asian factories. Oversaw model fittings during runway shows to achieve desired look and fit.

Guided creation of concepts, colors, and prints for the Calvin Klein Choice collection targeting the juniors market.
