As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in the Office of Institutional Research, I analyze and communicate institutional data to advance University operations and strategic goals. My job is to make sure that quality data is accessible to the right people in the right way to inform decision making and reporting.

As an academic program manager, I excelled in analyzing and communicating data to various units to project curriculum, scheduling, enrollment, and instructional support needs. Leveraging tools such as Argos, Banner, and Qualtrics, I collected data and generated ad-hoc reports for assigned programs. I maintained comprehensive databases to track student progress and facilitated admissions processes and projections. I also supported university-wide assessment and evaluation processes, including SLOs and accreditation requirements, collaborating with faculty to establish data-informed program goals. Additionally, I prepared programmatic materials such as handbooks, presentations, and reports, collaborating closely with faculty coordinators and advisors to offer informative sessions and orientations.

I oversaw CSSE undergraduate programs from start to finish – from developing new admissions processes and flipped orientation, to curriculum planning and coordination 100+ individualized field experiences across three campuses, I was integral in ensuring our programs’ smooth functioning and success. Ensuring program compliance with GaPSC policy was a priority, and collaborated closely with our Office of Academic Programs and Office of Undergraduate Advising colleagues to address degree requirements, course selection, schedules, and program policy. I additionally supported University, College and program-level assessment and evaluation processes including SLOs, PRAC, GaPSC accreditation, etc. Moreover, I managed all aspects of data collection for both programs, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

I advised and assisted over 175 prospective and current students in navigating all aspects of their academic journeys. Through developing collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, administration, and community partners within the College of Education (COE) and UGA, I ensured a supportive environment for student success. Additionally, I addressed student issues, advocated for improvements in their experiences, and maintained University standards. By identifying and resolving admissions barriers for prospective online students, I contributed to increased program enrollment and credit hour production. I represented the department and COE at various forums such as the Staff Representative Group, UGA Staff Council, orientation sessions, and recruitment events. I am proficiently trained in UGA student information systems, including IMS, Banner/Athena, and DegreeWorks, serving as a sectioning officer. Furthermore, I conceptualized and proposed a new online seminar tailored for nontraditional COE transfer students.

I supported over 150 prospective and enrolled Special Education students, aiding them in navigating various aspects of their academic journeys. Each semester, I meticulously analyzed and restructured all facets of the Special Education program admissions process. Additionally, I conceptualized and organized events such as New Student Orientation and the Student Teaching Workshop, fostering a welcoming environment for incoming students. My efforts extended to supporting recruitment initiatives and facilitating the application process for all Special Education programs. Recognizing the importance of alignment with student and faculty needs, I spearheaded the redesign of program requirements, components, and academic timelines. Moreover, I enhanced my leadership skills by earning a Certificate in High Impact Leadership through UGA Human Resources.
