After graduating from Spelman College, AmberLace began pursuing a Master of Arts degree at Bowie State University in Mental Health Counseling. She aims to incorporate traditional methodology with alternative holistic psychology in order to be mindful and educated on alternative approaches to mental wellness when working with diverse clientele. She plans to utilize her experience in Human Resources and Employee Development in the areas of corporate wellbeing, sports, athlete mental wellness, and in working with Minority Youth. Currently, AmberLace is pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology in order to provide sexual health education that addresses the stigma around sex in minority communities and to provide clients the resources needed to help address concerns around sexuality and or sexual health. While being a full-time student, AmberLace is also the Wellness Manager at M-NCPPC where she has a passion for developing holistic wellness programs and providing wellness resources and educational materials that will help employees, their family members, and retirees foster positive lifestyle changes.
