While in AmeriCorps Cape Cod, I was placed 3 days a week with the National Marine Wildlife Center. Throughout the program, I engaged in the following:Bourne, Massachusetts• Centralized data of 200 volunteers through implementing new volunteer software program, Volgistics• Shortened volunteer process by 50% through improving daily communication and designing online trainings• Assisted in marine animal husbandry and rehabilitation practices of seals, sea turtles, and freshwater turtles

• Actively participated in a wide variety of service projects throughout Cape Cod focusing on natural resourcemanagement, disaster preparedness and response, volunteer engagement, and environmental education• Taught children and adults the importance of water quality, local conservation and waste reduction throughgames, activities and group communication during environmental education festival called WETfest• Worked on natural resource projects including shellfishing and aquaculture, water monitoring, trailmanagement and stream restoration
