Director Of Internships, School Of Communications
Current- Oversee all operations for an academic internship program including curriculum development, administering grades, employer relationships, travel plans, and policy development for 250+ students annually- Work collaboratively with faculty and administration to create policies and procedures for ensuring the academic quality and integrity of internships meets graduation and accreditation requirements - Train approximately 10 faculty and staff each spring to support the summer internship course, and act as the lead instructor for 10+ course sections - Utilize Qualtrics to create campus-wide internship survey and employer evaluation; share data related to internships and professional development with stakeholders- Recruit, select, train, hire, and supervise a Student Assistant for the Internship Office - Assist in students’ professional development by equipping them with the skills essential to conduct a successful internship/job search, career planning, and career-related decisions - Conduct internship information sessions and classroom presentations throughout the year, as well as additional relevant presentations to campus stakeholders- Build relationships with key employers to create a pipeline of talent
