- Oversee the management of three AmeriCorps programs which includes supervising a three-person team who recruits and supports 32 Site Supervisors and 83 AmeriCorps members serving yearly at 10 American Red Cross chapter offices located throughout the state of California - Assist with the creation and management of a 2.4 million dollar budget maintaining detailed financial records associated with federal grant management- Successfully secured a new state grant which brought 30 more AmeriCorps members to serve at the Red Cross providing preparedness education to vulnerable communities in Los Angeles- Coordinate candidate recruitment, background checks, enrollment, timesheets, performance metrics, performance evaluations, member exits, project reporting and grant compliance - Facilitate monthly team meetings, conduct one-on-one check-ins, annual site visit reviews and training for both members and site supervisors

- Led and managed a primarily volunteer team who supported the training, engagement, retention and recognition of the 2,000+ disaster volunteers in the Los Angeles Region American Red Cross- Ensured that over 600 trained and skilled disaster volunteers were assigned and deployed to meet the needs of clients impacted by disaster including those who served during Hurricanes Irma, Michael, Maria and the California Wildfires

- Assisted teachers in the creation of project proposals to entice potential donors through a crowd funding platform- Created training material for volunteers, and trained new employees and volunteers- Contributed to national funding campaigns with large donors such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Disney, Google and Starbucks

- Assisted the clinical and administrative departments with delivery of outpatient substance abuse services - Conducted bio-psychosocial assessments, group and individual counseling and client case management - Designed and facilitated the Alumni program for graduating clients and their families - Organized the annual Recovery Recognition Ceremony, annual holiday party and quarterly sober social events - Recruited and trained interns - Coordinated with hospitals, insurance companies and day programs on behalf of clients receiving car

VISTA Leader (2007-2008) - Provided member support and development to 14 VISTAs at the following organizations in NYC: Office of Emergency Management, New York Disaster Interfaith Services, Sikh Coalition, Muslim Consultative Network, World Vision and World Cares - Acted as an agency liaison, providing support, solutions and when needed, conflict management, between members and placement agency - Provided project and grant reporting to the national office - Facilitated weekly team meetings, recruitment drives, site visits, service learning opportunities, training opportunities, e-newsletter and created the member handbook NCCC Team Leader (2006 – 2007)- Led 9 corps members, aged 18-25, for 10 months serving at 5 different nonprofits throughout the United States - Facilitated travel, maintained project budget, and conducted project evaluations of the members and placement agency - Worked and led volunteers in the following sectors of response: reconstruction, education, emergency response and the environment - Carried out similar duties as above VISTA member (2005 – 2006) - VISTA member assisting with recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina - Recruited and supervised small and large volunteer groups in a variety of recovery projects - Conducted needs assessments and provided client case management - Organized and assisted with special events including recruitment campaigns - Developed strategic relationships between the Mobile County VOAD, local NGOs, schools and church groups - Co-developed the curriculum for a summer camp for displaced children - Carried out similar duties as above
