During my sabbatical, I worked part time at Postmates Corp. as the Director of People Programs. In addition, I took time off to focus on a major house remodel, family and self. Leveled up my baking game, chaperoned field trips and active classroom volunteer before the pandemic.

Parter with leaders to enable their global teams. Drive talent initiatives such as new job architectures and growth profiles. Conduct organizational deep dives with teams to inform on org design including leadership gaps, succession planning and span of control. Integrated newly acquired teams into Trello and Confluence.

Support the Echo Software and Imaging Systems organizations. These teams launched V1 products such as the original Echo, Echo Show, Echo Dot and Echo Look. The teams are comprised of device software engineers, quality assurance engineers and technical program managers. Led the HR side of building new teams in Beijing, China, Cambridge, UK and Austin, TX. Lead initiatives around employee engagement talent management and leadership development. Member of the Souq acquisition team (M&A.)

Was the sole HRBP for the U.S. sites. Covered client groups consisting of engineering, marketing, designers, and sales. Designed and implemented a new performance management program, as well as entirely new benefits structure for U.S. employees. Built out a job architecture with job families and leveling. Onboarded several new executives, created an employee handbook.
