I grew up in Salem, Oregon. The middle of three daughters, I was daddy's girl. I have had many hobbies and passions throughout my life but one thing that has always been prevalent was my love for cars and automobiles as a whole. I helped my dad as much as I could when he would work on our family cars and that grew into me purchasing my own car that I would begin to modify and race in various clubs like SCCA. In my earlier years I found that I was better skilled in science and math subjects which lead me to focus on jobs where I handled inventory and money transactions. I had to hone my organizational and time management skills to help make sure I was able to recall information quickly when asked and that tasks were completed on time. In 2006, I decided to go back to school and pursue a degree in Accounting. I have been a full time employee at my current position since 2005, so going back to school has been slow process due to me only taking one class at a time to ensure I can focus on good grades. I have graduated Cum Laude from Collin College in 2016 with an Associate of Arts degree with a focus in Business. I then transferred to the University of North Texas, where I am currently enrolled, majoring in Accounting and maintaining a 3.5 GPA. I anticipate graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2024. I would like to continue working in an automotive related business but possibly move to a larger company where I can become part of an Accounting Department and focus my skills.
