Senior Service Designer
Current- Formed and executed a research plan to understand the people and processes an existing application supports. Balanced just enough understanding of needs, roles, and processes with quickly identifying actionable.
- Identified and Synthesized 110 needs across 4 teams, 8 priorities the team tackled first, 18 shared needs across multiple offices, 16 team-specific requests, and 3 high-level objectives all teams shared.
- Designed and facilitated a workshop that focused 4 teams on solving 3 shared objectives. This helped the teams align around top priorities, and empathize with each other's needs. This work guided the project's.
- Shared with client teams 17 opportunities that could quickly be moved to development, 11 needing UX design, and 4 larger requests the team-created project plans for resulting from the workshop.
- Kept the priority of the 4 client teams at the center of the project by facilitating backlog reviews, additional discovery sessions and requirement-gathering meetings that turned requests into actionable user stories.
- Facilitated an understanding of the people, roles, and processes of the 4 client teams by creating artifacts for our team to use including a journey map, workflow diagrams, and stakeholder map.
