I train biweekly to prepare for the annual SAAN conference, where I’m a small groups facilitator for discussions about social justice issues in the South Asian community.

I created a mini film to educate target audiences on the difficult transition for ex-felons from prison life to advocacy work in the criminal justice realm.In this club, we also discuss critical topics surrounding prisoners’ rights, specifically women prisoners’ birth rights, with peers in small groups.

I research potential investors for their startup based on the company's needs, and aid in deal flow between the respective parties.

I aid in deal flow by engaging with investor, expert, and startup communities. Additionally, I contribute to the due diligence research.

I spent weeks with internal medicine doctors: observed morning rounds with patients, learned about diagnosing patients, and asked questions about the medical field.

I sought out and contacted new clients for the company through research I conducted and organized into an Excel sheet. Additionally, I created PowerPoint presentations, marketing fliers, and newsletters, among other marketing mediums. Lastly, I kept their website up to date using WordPress and helped with their social media platforms.

I mobilized a team of six people to host a "pitching"competition, where we collected elevator pitches from University of Michigan students to encourage entrepreneurship. I also helped advertise the ‘1000 pitches’ competition via Instagram, through creative booths, and via email contact.

I interviewed women from around the world on their HG (pregnancy disease) experience, and how their country's healthcare system affected their pregnancy. I also created info-graphics for their Instagram and Facebook pages, in addition to writing descriptions for the posts.
