Redcats has given me the opportunity to work on the customer side of freight forwarding. I manage the ocean desk building and maintaining relationships with all of our carriers. I make sure our freight is arriving as scheduled and provide a forecast of the coming product to our receiving department so they can properly staff. I work closely with our in-house yard management company to ensure containers are arriving and departing in a timely manner. I also help management to strategize and streamline our current processes.
