Amber Wolfe serves as the VP of Epic Applications at Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) and is responsible for implementation, optimization, and maintenance of ACCESS’ electronic health record system, Epic. Amber project manages all Epic upgrades and oversees a team of application analysts on the Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Patient Access and Managed Care Application teams, credentialed and principal trainers on the IS Training team, and report developers and data warehouse architects on the Enterprise Data and Analytics teams to support daily systems usage, analytics needs, and the organization’s annual UDS report submission. Amber has been at ACCESS for over 14 years and was one of the first Epic analysts hired to support the early adoption and implementation of Epic organization wide. With her extensive knowledge and unique experience adopting Epic within a federally qualified health center (FQHC), Amber serves as a lead collaborator with Epic to provide feedback in the systems’ design so that it meets the unique reporting needs and requirements of FQHCs. She also consults with peer organizations to share Epic best practices and learnings. Amber is a member of the Epic Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Advisory Board.Amber is certified in several Epic applications and graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Systems.
