Manage writers, digital marketers and designers to deliver projects on time and within budget. Provide editorial guidance to help develop the agency's thought leadership and brand voice.

Reported, wrote and edited news articles and magazine-length profiles on topics including politics, leadership and technology for publications such as Fortune, Bloomberg, The Washington Post and The Wire China.

Project managed university initiatives, including workshops for mid-career journalists and graduate students. Oversaw January Academy, a series of workshops for graduate students, and helped coordinate and teach in the Entrepreneurial Journalism Creators Program, a 100-day crash course for career journalists to launch their own media ventures.

Managed overall strategy for communications and growth of two projects for the nonprofit based at Montclair State University: Loved & Lost, a digital memorial site featuring profiles of New Jersey’s COVID-19 victims, and the New Jersey Diverse Sources Database, an open-source data project to improve diversity in news sourcing and coverage.

Launched, managed and edited a blog focused on B2B marketing news, hiring freelancers to write articles and set an overall editorial strategy to drive SEO traffic and generate qualified leads. Oversaw content, editing and publication of 10+ tech and advertising industry newsletters — each with the unique brand voice of partner clients. Hired and managed writers for each newsletter, providing regular training and feedback to improve their work. Managed strategic relationships with newsletter partners and drove growth through high open rates and new business. Also managed content marketing projects to deliver custom white papers, blog posts and webinars to Fortune 500 clients in media, retail and tech.

Reported on energy, technology and grassroots lobbying news from Capitol Hill across content mediums, including a weekly magazine, daily newspaper, blog posts and video.
