Implemented electronic throttle control, a first for a vehicle competing in FSAE-AustralasiaTechnical Director for Electric Vehicle – 2017Lead overall vehicle design, in concept, individual component design, and systems integration. The team achieved 3rd place EV at FSAE-Australasia, Highest competition placing for the team in 10 years. We brought the lightest EV the team has ever produced, a 32% reduction in mass of vehicle with no mechanical failures.Head of Suspension - 2016I designed a novel suspension system, requiring kinematic and structural analysis. Assisted in the production of composite moulds and components.Aerodynamics Team – 2015Designed a front wing, performing CFD analysis in ANSYS Fluent.Formula SAE has given me many skills I believe I will be applying throughout my career. Being able to design a component or system, or produce a drawing for manufacture are skills I have been able to practice and refine. However, I believe the most important skills I have had to develop are time management and the ability to work as part of a team.
