1) Responsible for re-engineering/transformation of country stress tests for HSBC Group across the globe covering Asia Pacific, Americas, Europe and Middle East2) Responsible for enterprise wide stress testing covering all elements of bank's P&L and Balance Sheet for 10 MENA countries. The responsibility spans across bank's economic/regulatory capital assessment, enterprise wide stress tests, related models and regulatory relations.Stress Testing elements cover a) Group wide annual Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and European Banking Authority (EBA) prescribed stress tests b) Regional and country regulatory stress tests c) Advisory to Board/HSBC Regional and Group Leadership on potential economic and geo-political duress the region may face and its implication to the bankLead multi-functional team (Strategy, Risk, Finance, Business) to design and deliver on relevant and meaningful stress test results. Identify key management mitigation action. Work with regulators to discuss capital adequacy and bank's resilience, hence affecting the determination of additional capital charge. Work with Board and strategic planning on apprising of potential headwinds, their likely impact to bank and mitigations.2) Responsible for annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) for regional and country regulators. Lead the entire process and present to Internal and External stakeholders (Regional regulator Jersey Financial Service Commission, DFSA. and country regulators such as Central Bank of UAE).3) Oversight of economic and regulatory capital with respect to aforementioned.
