Consulting journey started with Tangerine Design, Tapestry facility, under the guidance of Mr. Sirish Patel and Himanshu aiming to set up an efficient bag manufacturing unit. Leading and mentoring IE and PE team along with educating and influencing production for full adoption of lean mix tools into the flow of work designed to sustain measurable business outcomes.

Company not so large, and a desire to thrive and outgrow I was working heavily with Revenue Management to develop and execute marketing and merchandising strategies to scale up the business.Added Belt in our product portfolio and initiated this business to add extra revenue and established ourselves as onestop for all high fashion leather accessories.Overseeing and controlling merchandising teams to ensure smooth processes from product development to bulk order delivery. In between coordinating with different departments, for seamless flow of information and materials to meet shipping deadline with optimum quality

Orion Conmerx is one of the most reputed export houses in NCR, growing steadily since last twenty five years. It has grown large and then has two facility, one for leather garment and another for bags. My key focus area was to manage and squeeze leather procurement lead time, and hence reduce the operation cycle for quicker garment delivery. We also maintained stock of imported lamb wetblue to get them processed locally for prompt delivery. Minimizing and controlling the cutting waste was also in my domain.Along with designated role, I too was responsible for developing and implementation of lean tools and techniques in operational and production processes and streamlining systems to minimize waste and boost our efficiency.

At JAK, I oversaw all operations functions of the wallet division and directly involved in new product and Leather developments. My role collaborates with the CEO to develop corporate and operational strategies, and was charged with facilitating these efforts across Operations. Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, I provided the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Primary objective was to grow the accessory and footwear division to a sizable business of Benetton India. My whole team was engaged in making our accessories and footwear striking out in racks full of garments. This all starts with a well thought and designed product, getting them produced at a reasonable price and appropriate quality and delivers them to our store at a right time. I started as a loner, and slowly I built up an efficient team of four catering about 8% of our Indian business. A good contribution to our company’s bottom line was also a core responsibility apart from managing and controlling the above whole process and my team.
