Implementation of EnerCon drive including multiple projects (like Steam Network Optimization, Cooling Towers Optimization, Flash Steam Recovery System, Compressed Air Network Optimization, HVAC Network Optimization etc) resulting in 850 tCO2e reduction and 2,000 MWh savings per annum.- Successful installation & commissioning of 1.2 MW on-site Solar Solution (NUWARR SOLAR PARK) resulting in 700 tCO2e reduction and 100K GBP savings per annum. Site’ load shifted to 17% Renewable Electricity from 0.2% Successfully implemented IM (Initiative Management) and AM (Autonomous Maintenance) tools for achieving OTIF completion and ensuring maximum operational efficiency. Feasibility and initiation of extension of this solar park by addition of another 1.1 MW.- Sustainability Highway: Construction of 1st ever road in BAT made using Cigarette Filter Waste; a project in-line with BAT’s commitment to environment, circular economy, ZWTL (Zero Waste To Landfill) & 100% waste recycling. This 100 meter road is constructed by replacing 4,200 kg bitumen with Filter waste demonstrating a potential reduction of 40 tons of CO2 emissions for every kilometer of such road. Technical Paper published in BAT and approved as CBA (Current Best Approach) for horizontal application of this process across BAT sites in the globe.- Water Conservation: Closed the year 2021 on 43% water recycling ratio (Best in BAT globally) and saving 60 Mln liters of Water annually.
