Serve as the chief alumni relations officer for WKU with general institutional responsibility for the organization, management, and implementation of the University's comprehensive alumni program, as well as staff leadership for the WKU Alumni Association Board of Directors, a national group of more than thirty outstanding volunteers. Additional duties include serving as a senior leader for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement.

I provided oversight, direction, and management of UOAA membership services, key programs, initiatives, and outreach efforts. I led innovative alumni engagement and career network programs, business development, and membership services to advance the mission of UOAA and support annual and regional university advancement initiatives. I oversaw the expansion of UOAA's engagement and services in Portland through the establishment of a UOAA Portland office.Additionally, I managed the development and implementation of a fundraising program for UOAA and alumni groups. I collaborated across the advancement portfolio to engage in key strategic planning and implementation efforts, leveraging various programs and services within the advancement model/structure. My role required a special emphasis on fostering innovative alumni engagement, driving the mission of the UOAA forward, and supporting the broader goals of university advancement.

I worked closely with the Executive Director, the University of Oregon Alumni Association Board of Directors, and other campus partners to create a vibrant alumni association that effectively served its mission. I assisted with the evaluation and planning efforts to launch a new long-range strategic plan for the organization, emphasizing best practices and the adoption of new programs, initiatives, and services.I provided leadership for association operations with specific oversight of outreach functions, career networking, membership, business development, and the Ford Alumni Center. I also provided daily leadership for all UOAA functions during the transition into a University Advancement model, preparing for the integration of UOAA into annual and regional advancement efforts.

In addition to retaining responsibilities as Director of Alumni Programs, I served as a representative of the Association to external groups and functioned as the deputy director of the organization. I participated in the daily management of the Association through management team meetings, decision-making, and collaboration with the Board of Directors.I provided daily leadership for a programs team of fourteen full- and part-time members, overseeing fiscal matters, personnel, and professional/personal development. I coordinated a strategic planning process that resulted in a paradigm shift for the organization, enhancing the delivery of programs, communications, membership, and services using a segmentation model. I led an award-winning team through a strategic reorganization, delivering quality programs that engaged members, alumni, students, and friends based on geographic territories and life-stage segments.I conceptualized and implemented the Pride of Arkansas Tour, a state and regional outreach program for alumni. I represented the Association on the implementation team to convert databases from Ascend to Advance, making the Association a power-user of specific biographic, membership, and event sub-systems. As the territory manager for the Dallas-Fort Worth market, I oversaw the largest out-of-state concentration of alumni.I integrated social media into professional and organizational activities to increase exposure for the organization. I served as the point of contact for the Alumni Attitude Study project and oversaw the roll-out and implementation of results from the findings. Additionally, I developed and implemented services, programs, and communications supporting alumni career engagement through the Arkansas Alumni Career Network.

As Director of Alumni Programs, I led a team of eleven full and part-time staff members responsible for managing a wide array of alumni programs, including alumni-student recruitment, career services, chapters, homecoming, pre-game rallies, reunions, scholarships, societies, special events, student alumni association programming, student alumni board, travel (athletic and international tours), volunteer management, and young alumni initiatives.My specific program responsibilities included establishing and maintaining a partnership with the Career Development Center to expand career services for alumni, developing and implementing young alumni programming and services, including the Young Alumni Council, and leading the Association’s effort to create an organization-wide plan for volunteer management. I also developed, deployed, and marketed an online community for members.In terms of management responsibilities, I staffed and supported Board of Directors and committee meetings, established benchmarking and tracking systems for Association programs, handled personnel selection and training, assisted with all aspects of the Association’s operations and programs, and served as a key member of the management team for the Association.

In my role as Assistant Director, I provided leadership for the alumni chapter program, which included managing the budget, coordinating publicity and marketing for chapter events, securing university speakers, administering chapter reward programs, and training and guiding chapter leaders.Additionally, I served as the business manager for Arkansas magazine. I acted as the alumni liaison to the Office of Admissions and participated in the university-wide recruitment task force. I also supported assigned committees of the Board of Directors and assisted with all programs coordinated by the Association.

In my role as Director of the Student Success Center, I was responsible for creating and directing the department's new student recruitment and current student retention programs. My duties included mailing correspondence to prospective students and educators across the state, counseling prospective students, and developing recruitment publications. I established and coordinated the Agriculture Ambassador program and implemented retention programs to support student success.I worked with various offices across campus to address student issues, managed student data and records, and coordinated academic advising. Additionally, I administered the departmental scholarship program, assisted with career placement and internship programs, and created reference materials for all programs developed. I also directed the public relations activities of the department and communicated and worked with alumni and friends of the department.
