As an intern for the Caribbean Student Association, I learned the value of community and social networking. My passion for activism led me to intern for the Black Student Union. Currently, I serve as Co-Public Relations Officer for the National Society of Black Engineers and Secretary for Powerful United Ladies Striving to Elevate. These roles have been instrumental in my decision to advocate for equity and involvement in higher education and the corporate world. I aspire to inspire others to pursue their goals and leave a lasting legacy.Additionally, in the 2023-2024 academic school year, I was the Co-President of the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP). This position allowed me to connect with faculty and students to plan events and outreach for minority students in higher education. Through CSTEP I gained experience in being a research mentee in 2023 and 2024. Looking ahead, I intend to pursue my master's degree to continue my passion for learning and advancing in the engineering field.
