Amira is a 2012 University of Central Florida graduate in advertising and public relations with a minor in sociology, but also holds a degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University. She has a plethora of experiences, especially with two of largest corporations in the world, Walt Disney World and Apple, giving her a first hand understanding of creativity, customer service, etiquette and protocol. Since starting at UCF, her internship's landed her experience in PR and social media, giving her the opportunities to expand her knowledge in communications. As a result, her passion for social media began when she founded and became the president of the first social media club student chapter at UCF, UCFSMC. Mainly established for the purpose of giving students hands on experience in social media management and branding, the UCF Social media club (UCFSMC) proved to be very successful outside of the university with its trending topics and popular tweet chats on Twitter. Her recent internship at Track Shack Events has been especially profound, as she has been able to not only further her skills in PR and social media, but also take on some experience in event management such as the OUC Orlando Half Marathon, with more than 4,000 participants.From entertainment and retail, to public relations and events, Amira has garnered the fundamentals of participating and contributing to a successful team and a thriving business.
