Current responsibilities include marketing, designing and procuring projects related to Geotechnical Contracting in Atlantic Canada.The technologies we currently offer include various forms of Ground Improvement, Micro-Piles and Slope Reinforcement involving proprietary systems such as Rammed Aggregate Piers®, Cased IBO® (Injection Bore) Micro-Piles, Helical Piles and SRT™ (Slope Reinforcement Technology), .Expertise in the design and installation of Rammed Aggregate Piers® by the Geopier Foundation Company for projects involving the support of structures located in poor soils such as soft clay, silt or loose sand where this intermediate foundation system eliminated the need for over-excavation and replacement thus providing substantial savings and increased speed of construction.Expertise in the design and installation of Helical Foundation Systems by MacLean-Dixie has enabled us to repair foundations that have settled and cracked with their underpinning system and also provide a piling system to support structures when a deep foundation system is required in soft soils such as homogeneous clay, silt and loose sand.Expertise in the design and installation of IBO® (Injection Bore Micro-Pile) Systems by Con-Tech Systems has enabled us to underpin foundations and provide a piling system to support structures when a deep foundation system is required in rocky soils to solid bedrock such as fill sites containing boulders or sites with loose overburden soils overlying bedrock. Expertise in the design and installation of SRT™ (Slope Reinforcement Technology) by Tensar has enabled us to stabilize shallow landslides or reinforce marginally stable slopes prior to failure with their rigid Plate Pile™ elements to effectively pin the slope and improve the factors of safety for design requirements.
