Altered an InDesign script to create book cover mechanicals according to in-house standards.

Assisted production department in all tasks: tracked art, proofs, and ad materials throughout the production process; reviewed page proofs and helped to track necessary changes; participated in planning and organization for several magazines. Aided in other tasks as needed, including design work such as mocking-up advertisements and creating an instructional document with several levels of hierarchy.

Served as assistant to production manager. Primarily updated cover and copyright pages for reprinted books, received office copies of new publications and reprints, received and tracked up to twenty invoices in a day from multiple companies for all reprints and new books.

Created pages in InDesign and revised copy for clarity, style, and accuracy. Sent feedback to city editors and publications director. Served as final editor before preflighting and transmitting pages to The Waco Tribune-Herald for printing.
