About Adam Crowe
As a former law enforcement officer and veteran of the U.S. Army, I have spent years building myself academically and professionally, specifically learning how to be highly adaptable in the face of stressful and dynamic work environments. I left a small, rural town in South Carolina in 2010 to pursue a degree from the Citadel Military College and enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard. Halfway through my degree, I was deployed to Kosovo, a small country that was left after the breakdown of Yugoslavia. Going from college student to being a part of an international, NATO peace-keeping force set the tone for how I needed to be adaptable to new and stressful situations, how to solve advanced problems, and how to build the skills I needed for my career progression. For the past ten years, I have served in two law enforcement agencies, different military units, completed a year-long deployment, as well as gaining experience working in the sales and trucking industries. Through all of these careers, I have continually sought out how to make my individual work and effort as impactful as possible. While in law enforcement, my drive to improve, to learn and develop new skills took me from the position of a new patrol officer to a Violent Crimes Unit investigator, to serve as a Task Force Officer (TFO) on three federal task forces, and served on a variety of specialized police units. I became a Sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard, sold almost two million dollars of public safety equipment and software at Axon Enterprise, and trucked hundreds goods and supplies all along the East Coast.I've now found my passion in the IT industry, focusing on networking and security. So much so, that I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Network Engineering and Security through Western Governors University and obtaining new certifications and training in IT fundamentals. I am excited in this new direction and look forward to the new experiences and connections I build in the coming years. Please feel free to message me, I look forward to connecting and learning how we could work together!
