As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), I am deeply committed to enhancing access to care and primary healthcare services to prevent severe illnesses. My academic journey has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate interactions between human health and the environment.Beyond my academic pursuits, I have garnered significant experience working with diverse communities to address their unique health needs. My role as an Office Assistant at The Shop@TCNJ, a campus food pantry, involved fundraising, partnership building, and raising awareness to combat food insecurity within the TCNJ and Ewing communities. Additionally, I collaborated with Mercer Street Friends and the Food Bank of Mercer County as a pantry assistant and case manager, further honing my community engagement skills.My experience extends to research, where I served as a Summer Research Student at TCNJ. In this role, I collaborated with a team to observe and analyze animal behavior, contributing to future research initiatives. My hospital experience and professional development were further enhanced through my summer internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Dengue Branch, facilitated by ESA’s Public Health Entomology for All program.With a strong foundation in practical communication, a motivation to tackle challenging work, and a solid work ethic, I am confident in my ability to excel in roles related to public health and biology. My extensive experience in teamwork and collaboration positions me well to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of others. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to drive positive change in public health.
