The goal of this project was to find a suitable location to dig a well for watering crops. Schlumberger array was employed to determine the resistivity of the soil.

Successfully completed the annual field camp organized by the Department of Earth Science at the University of Ghana. This immersive experience provided invaluable insights into the geological formations of our country. Focused on the Sekondian Geological Formation, a crucial component of Ghana's hydrocarbon potential. Through rigorous field work, I gained practical experience in:1. Geological mapping: Collecting and documenting rock types, structural measurements, and stratigraphic observations to understand the region's geological makeup and evolution.2. Structural analysis: Utilizing field equipment to accurately record geological orientations (strike, dip, trend, plunge) for precise structural interpretation.3. Field sampling: Conducting systematic sampling to gather representative rock, mineral, and structural data for further analysis.4. Geological mapping techniques: Developing proficiency in on-foot traverse, outcrop logging, sampling, and aerial photography to create detailed geological maps.5. Geological interpretation: Analyzing lithological contacts, faults, folds, and unconformities to interpret geological history, deformation events, and structural evolution.6. Field safety: Prioritizing safety by adhering to protocols, promoting a supportive environment, and applying emergency procedures.

My research title was, "Delineating the various structural lineaments in the Voltaian basin.In this research, I applied airborne magnetic to define the structures in the Northeastern portion of the Voltaian.
