I conducted deep due diligence utilizing internal and external sources on a publicly-traded technology distribution company. After establishing my investment thesis, I constructed a discounted cash flow model segmented into two operating divisions with its own assumptions and scenarios. Ultimately, I presented a 15-page investment memorandum to the entire investment team.

I assisted in the valuation of a portfolio of six Burger King businesses by adjusting certain line items to reflect new management’s operational expertise and applied industry EBITDA multiple. I also assessed the viability of potential new locations by creating one-year P&L models using potential acquisition target’s financials, resulting in management going into escrow on one property.

I co-founded NOA Group DBA, a reverse logistics company that specializes in reselling new, used, and refurbished electronics directly to consumers and wholesale accounts. My role included sourcing products, communicating with buyers and sellers by phone, pricing products, paying employees, organizing logistics, and managing finances. At the peak of the company’s lifetime, I had three employees working hourly plus commission on the merchandise they sold through outside channels.

The Shaviv Corporation is a company that owns and operates 19 Burger King locations. I routinely worked 40 hour weeks at the company taking care of the accounts payable, communicating to the executives when bills were due, and learning the intricacies of the franchise business. I learned how to use Sage 100c accounting software to input invoices in the right months and accounts and print checks to mail to vendors. I also conducted a survey of surrounding competing fast food locations to help management remain competitive.
