Ameen is currently working as Hardware engineering manager at Alten Calsoft Bangalore. He heads the 5G RCT (Radio Conformance Testing) team and owns complete 5G RF Validation activities confining to 3GPP specifications. His daily activities are centered around managing various validation and debugging tasks on TX Channel power, ACLR, EVM, Intermodulation, Spurious emissions, Spectral emission mask, RX sensitivity, selectivity, dynamic range, in band, out of band blockers, RX Intermodulation, Time alignment etc. He architect the complete automation activities on RF validation. He is also Responsible to Recruit, manage and lead world class hardware design and Validation team of engineers. He Leads design reviews and technical innovations across teams.

Currently working with Ericsson Sweden on mmWave Phase Array Antenna module Validation at 39Ghz for 5G Base station Advanced Antenna Systems (AAS). At Ericsson, he is responsible for integrating SW and HW modules into complete 5G Radio functions. Optimising, troubleshooting EIRP, EVM, ACLR, spurious and harmonic emissions, OBW, RX sensitivity, Selectivity, delay deviation (time alignment), LO leakage, TDD switching performance, PA linearization, isolation, noise figure, AGC, Spectral mask, link budget, P1dB, IP3, OTA beamforming and beam steering issues, intermodulation issues etc. Ameen is working in a cross-functional team interacting with System design, SW design and ASIC/FPGA design. As an mmWave Radio Integrator, he also supports development of the Radio production tests and calibration algorithms. His main role is tuning and verification of 5G Radio functions at millimeter wave frequencies to secure functionality and performance of the complete 5G Radio unit before handing over to formal verification teams.
