For over ten years, I have served as CEO & Spa Director of The Nail Bar, a luxury nail spa and wellness centre in Abuja, Nigeria. During that time, I also launched Nigeria's premier professional clean beauty nail care brand Amali Cosmetics , renowned for its non-toxic product range. Thanks to the invaluable experience I have gained as a beauty industry entrepreneur, I have been able to fulfill my long-time passion for educating others as a career development coach and published author of 'The Full Set' - a resourceful guide for other entrepreneurs and business owners, backed by my own experiences.I'm a CIBTAC-certified beauty therapist and aesthetician with a BA in Politics and International Relations as well as a CIBTAC Diploma in Spa Management. I’m also extremely passionate about advancing Nigeria’s beauty industry through innovation and standardization. Most recently, I transitioned from serving as Executive Chair & Director of Communications at the Spa and Wellness Association of Africa to serving on the Standard Organization of Nigeria National Mirror/Technical Committee on Beauty and Wellbeing Services.I've always been a strong advocate for women and children’s rights, and enlightening and empowering women in and their various fields of life. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, yoga, volunteering and bonding with my two children.
