After graduating from the University of Liverpool in the UK with a degree in MSc. Human Resource Management, I started my professional career in HR. After four years I pivoted to new challenges. I went on to accept a role in sales at a young and growing startup. Over the past decade, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of organizations, from established blue chip business conglomerates to small startups in diverse domains and job roles. My exposure to business spans from FMCG distribution to financial crime software in banking and financial services. Through this exposure across industries and job roles, I have learnt the importance of processes at large organizations while understanding the need for tenacity in startups. I have gained from large format companies that focus on processes and departments while enjoying working in startups where everyone does everything. I have experienced highs and lows where successes have taught me humility and failures have built resilience.My biggest growth and learning have come from scaling software product startups in the banking and financial services domain with a focus on understanding technology, learning domain, building teams, penetrating geographies, making clients, generating revenue and managing people. My interests, work and continued education pursuits have taken me to Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America and I have had the opportunity to learn from networking with customers, partners and connects in over 30 countries. I also have had the opportunity to attend management courses at leading global business schools and am a part of a formidable alumni network.As a career focused person, I enjoy challenges, strive on goals, constantly look for new things to learn and am continuously seeking to expand my business acumen and management skills through continued education and their application in my job roles.When not working, I engage in social responsibility and enjoy exploring new places.
