Ever since I was young, I have been known as the outgoing, outspoken, social kid who loves to talk to everyone. It took a while, but eventually I was able to harness my sociable personality and use it to my advantage. Additionally, my mom worked as a probation officer for my entire childhood. I believe my outgoing personality and my early introduction to the criminal justice system made me interested in law from a very young age. Because of this, I decided to study Business Law at Arizona State University. I also plan on attending law school post grad. I’ve noticed my communication skills have no bounds nor language barrier. Whether it was engaging with customers while making their coffee as a barista, getting to know the many customers I saw as a manager, or even leading a group of volunteers in foreign countries. I strongly believe this attribute is valuable for anyone looking to be a successful lawyer in the business world. This skillset of mine has has opened several doors for me throughout my professional life. I have been given the opportunity to be a part of a hiring team, teach and train new employees, and manage a customer service branch. With these professional experiences, I have been able to bring my communication skills out in every new employee I’ve helped hire and train. Because of my skillset, and my work with employees in a corporate setting, I have decided to make it a goal of mine to work as an employment lawyer representing multiple employees, companies, etc.
