I am a driven law student based in Cardiff, with the dream of acquiring a training contract with a reputable law firm after I graduate. My central interests in the law involve discrimination and civil rights violations, and therefore I am intrigued by EU Law and the European Court of Human Rights. I would be particularly interested in work experience/pro-bono opportunities to accentuate my employability for when I graduate. Outside of academics, I am an ex-Welsh gymnast. The skills I earned while being a competitive gymnast have stuck with me outside of the sport. For example, my competitive nature helps me in the way that it keeps me hard-working and determined. This nature of my personality is also relevant within my part-time job as a waitress, as I work hard to earn tips and good reviews. I enjoy having a part-time job as well as completing my degree, as I like to be busy and it satisfies my drive to earn money.
