During this fast paced hospitality role, I had to adapt and learn new skills quickly in order to ensure customers had a great experience even when the coffee house and wine bar was busy. I made alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and used a coffee machine. this job gave me experience in hospitality and a different working environment from what I had in my previous jobs.

After the final lockdown, I applied for a temporary position at River Island Newcastle to help with re-opening after the lockdown. This meant I had to work in a fast paced and busy environment as people were getting back to normal after not being able to shop on the high street for over a year.

Treat Boutique was a small Facebook and Instagram online business that me and a friend owned and ran throughout the first lockdown. We used social media platforms to market our products which ranged from celebration cakes to chocolate slabs. our Facebook page grew quickly getting 500 likes in just the first 3 weeks of us opening. This meant that we quickly became busy with orders and having to ensure all of our customers were satisfied. This allowed me to build on leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills as well as customer service skills and many more useful skills.
