Passionate and results-driven communications professional with a keen interest in writing and storytelling. With a solid foundation in social media management, blog writing, and email marketing, I am dedicated to crafting compelling narratives and engaging content.Currently, I serve as a Grants and Communications Writer at Stepping Stone House, where I have honed my grant writing skills, as well as communications experience. In my first six months at the organisation, I worked with the team to launch a successful pilot fundraising campaign, 'Step by Step: The 46km Challenge.' Additionally, I have led efforts to revamp our visual identity across various communication channels, ensuring a cohesive and professional brand presence. Previously, at UTS Careers, I excelled as a Communications Assistant, overseeing content calendars and leveraging various content management suites to enhance our social media presence. Through strategic planning and creative content development, I significantly boosted Instagram engagement by 6.1% year-on-year. My role also involved managing the UTS Careers Blog, where I curated content, conducted interviews, and maintained stakeholder relations, resulting in a monthly readership of approximately 2500.I hold a Bachelor of Communications with a focus on Creative Writing and Public Communication, as well as a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation with First Class Honours. My honours project led me on a path of social research, exploring the impact of young adult dystopian fiction on perceptions and understandings of environmental justice.Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated excellence in writing, research, and project management, culminating in a distinction average and an overall GPA of 6.44.Outside of work, I'm an artist, a writer, and a musician, with a life focus of being creative, connecting with others through creating, and making some wonderful friends. Since 2019 I have been a dedicated chorister with the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs VOX, where I've had the privilege of being a part of memorable performances, such as in works such as multiple Harry Potter Live Concerts (2023, 2024), the ABC Classic Dawn Chorus national broadcast (2024), and notably, and for late Prime Minister Bob Hawke’s Memorial service.
