The job entailed managing customer’s accounts and liaising with different departments to ensure work was kept to a specific time scale in order to comply with customer contracts. I also took an active role in the complaints team when they were short staffed, I felt this work sat well with my position so I volunteered to take this on. On a daily basis I would respond to email enquiries, be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries. I would also cover reception duties, dealing with customer enquiries when required. Another aspect of the job was to undertake document filing both physical and digital, making sure all files were accounted for. I am proficient in all office programs and my exceptional IT skills ensure I am able to quickly master any bespoke systems used by a prospective employer.

I worked as part of a small team in a family run business. My role was to ensure the shop area was clean and tidy, signposting customers, managing stock and window dressing. I also greeted customers and answered phones, all with a pleasant and friendly manner. I needed to be flexible and able to take on any role due to this being a very small team.

My job role was based in the camp store, which consisted of selling food and merchandise. This was an extremely busy and fast paced environment. I had to control the incoming stock and ensure the shop was stocked at all times. I was also involved in the shop’s finances which involved checking the float and balancing up tills at the end of the day. The role also involved food preparation to health and hygiene standards. Utilising my artistic skills I devised and prepared gift bags for parents to purchase whilst their child was at camp. Whilst there I volunteered to work with the 4-5 year old children in the day camp that they provided. This involved planning and preparing activities that would stimulate and entertain the children and also supporting them at lunchtimes.
