 I ran a club of 60 members and a committee of 10. I made sure everyone on my committee was happy and doing their role properly. We had a social event every week, small kite trips biweekly, and large trips abroad in the holidays. We organised beginner lessons, instructor courses, a social media platform, and merchandise.

The beginners representative is responsible for engaging with new members and ensuring they feel welcomed and supported by the society. This position involves: • full organisation and running of weekly trips to the lake, for all levels of windsurfing • coordinating instructors and drivers • ensuring there is sufficient kit for the sessions • engaging with all new members to establish a positive involvement with the club
