As a person I am punctual, organised and reliable. Joining Okehampton College in year 9, after moving from Somerset where I had lived all my life, I quickly made a new group of friends however I still keep in touch with my friends from Somerset. I am disciplined about allocating time for my coursework assignments and always aim to complete the task to the best of my ability and within the timescale. I actively take part in horse shows and regularly attend carriage driving events as a member of the British Driving Society, both competing and as a spectator. Viewing animals and their relationships with their handlers is a passion that I enjoy especially when watching demonstrations by organisations such as Parelli who encourage natural horsemanship. At a recent Equine Fair in Exeter I was completely absorbed by the bird of prey and gun dog demonstrations, showing a strong bond between the man and his animals. I want to contribute to this world and work to understand the natural needs of animals.Once I have completed my studies at college and university level I shall enthusiastically launch myself into a career using my animal experience both practical and theoretical to begin my journey into the world of animal rehabilitation and behavioural care.
