I have dedicated much of my educational and professional career to learning about food, how it's produced and the barriers to making food systems more environmentally responsible and socially equitable. I am an excited problem solver interested in pushing the boundaries of how businesses create profitable, environmentally responsible, and socially beneficial solutions to their biggest dilemmas.After an undergraduate degree in conservation and agriculture from Carleton College, I spent four years at the Forest Stewardship Council helping companies and organizations transition to more responsible sourcing practices for their forest products. While completing a dual degree MBA/MS in agroecology, I worked on the procurement team for Danone North America during their integration of White Wave and for Cargill Corporate Strategy and Development. I am currently Strategic Business Development Manager for new products in Olam Spices.
