- Responsible for the strategic liaison with, and management of, statutory customers and regulators and their individual statutory requirements, as well as working closely with Higher Education Providers to manage changes that occur to their statutory reporting.- Develop and maintain specialist sector expertise in relation to these subscribers, and act upon it and disseminate it appropriately- Responsible for the flow of provider information- Conduct regular reviews of established methods to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose- Act as the operational lead for provider changes- Lead on administrative record-keeping in relation to these changes so that key information and decisions are expertly documented and communicated- Lead on the development of provider induction and onboarding methods and content- Review existing practices and preparing materials and guidance. - Liaise with other key teams involved in this process to ensure they are supported.- Lead on process reviews and development, creating and maintaining a process directory.- Review legal documentation to ensure it reflects appropriate business processes or activities.

Worked as a Night Residential Assistant on the University of York Shine Programme, focused on Year 10 students from widening participation groups.- Supervised students in nighttime icebreakers, transported to accommodation, and ensured they were well rested. Woke them up the next day for breakfast and accompanied them there.- Dealt with wellbeing and safeguarding issues that arose during the night.- Kept in communication with Senior Residential Assistants and Residential Managers.

- Designed and composed a 48-page report on peer assisted learning (PAL) schemes at the University of York- Researched external good practice from a sample of 35 universities- Quantitively and qualitatively analysed student satisfaction rates for over 30 departments using National Student Survey results as well as websites including WhatUni and the Complete University Guide- Conducted and transcribed interviews of both students and staff- Provided information on reasonable next steps, individualised to each department

- Collated case studies of good practice from 237 universities across 52 countries, presenting them in an annotated bibliography, as posters, and in a presentation.- Established the impact of inclusive assessment on widening participation groups including mature students, student carers, working class students, estranged and care leavers, disabled students, including students with autism and mental health issues, and presented this to key members of university staff- Presented this information to a board including Associate Deans, Academic SU Officers, and Chairs of committees including the Standing Committee on Assessment

Working on projects within the Department to help increase a sense of community among students:- Co-created and designed the Instagram @uoyhistorydept. - Composed and designed a New Starters Handbook for the University of York's Department of History, the first of its kind at the university - Created and developed History Links, a peer-to-peer mentoring system for students within the department.- Arranged and ran events including consultations and coffee- Attended trainings on wellbeing, disability advocacy, social media management, finance and budgeting, and corporate etiquetteAs part of this role I was shortlisted for the PVC's EDI Catalyst Award

Judged the WhatUni student awards alongside a number of other students over Zoom in April 2022. Then I was invited to sit on a student panel at their insights day in London, where we discussed departmental communications across a number of different universities, as well as completed relevant promotional materials.
