Growing up with an interest in design, having a knack for problem solving and a love for the outdoors, has lead Amelia to picture herself working as a Landscape Architect.During her Bachelor of Architectural Studies , Amelia traveled to Japan as a study tour. Spending majority of her time in inner Tokyo she gained a much greater understanding of busy cities and how important outdoor spaces are in such high density precincts. Part of the stay was in country Japan and its here that she appreciated the beauty of old traditional Japan. She was able to see first hand the natural beauty of the landscape in contrast to the generated beauty found in the inner city.In the short term, she sees her skills with Revit and Illustrator being key for her future growth in the industry. Long term, she hoped to find herself working collaboratively in a team environment, combining skills for the best final outcome. These final outcomes would ideally be found across Australia with a range of diverse landscape types.
