After being in an operational role for 6 months, my directors soon saw where our highest stream of revenue was coming from and made the decision to move me into a role that emphasises my passion, Marketing & Events Manager. Within this role, my responsibilities include all things marketing & advertising, organising and orchestrating events, business development and initiating & developing key connections with important people in the community, such as other local businesses, brand development, reporting in-depth on marketing avenues, networking as well as being fully immersed in the day-to-day runnings of the business.

During my role as Venue Manager, my responsibilities included the day-to-day running of the entire venue, this ranged from managing a team of 20 employees, ensuring service was running smoothly, ensuring communication was clear between all areas of the business, dealing with enquires, organising events, cashing the business up, ensuring food and hygiene standards were met in front of house as well as dealing with marketing, sales and business development.

2 and a half years into the growth of Pink Moon a new opportunity presented itself in the form of Castle Street Sports & Entertainment. Since then I have dedicated myself to the start up of this brand new, experience led hospitality business. 6 months in and we are a successful live sport, live music, events venue with an outstanding restaurant situated within.

After completing two apprenticeships in Digital Marketing during my time at The Lead Lab & Home Lead Gen, I was given a promotion to Marketing Manager, this included managing the marketing for both businesses at a higher level. My responsibilities increased and my experience widened, giving me a wholesome understanding of the marketing industry and the channels within it. I was given targets and lead weekly meeting with my directors and managers. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Lead Lab group.

During my time of being a Digital Marketing Executive for The Lead Lab group I was in the process of completing two marketing apprenticeships back to back (level 3 & level 4). The Leab Lab Group provided me with an invaluable platform to try and test everything I learned in my apprenticeship and more. I received monumental support from management and this allowed me to exceed in my role. My responsibilities included email marketing, social media marketing, in depth reporting, Google adwords & PPC, Google analytics, market research as well as general admin for the business.

My role as part of the management team at UO was to manage a large team of sales advisers along with managing the department of Women's Accessories. I had to ensure the store was running smoothly at all times, I was responsible for delegating jobs to the rest of the team, enforce an exceptional standard of service, replenish and develop my department, handle large sums of money when cashing up, using back office software and being relied upon and trusted to open and close the store independently.

My responsibilities at the New Inn were to ensure the bar and restaurant were running smoothly at all times, this was achieved through excellent customer service, time efficiency, confidence in delegating jobs to other team members, working well within a team and going the extra mile to ensure the customer has the best experience within they're visit to our pub. During my shifts i was responsible for handling and dealing with a constant flow of money, having impeccable hygiene standards with the kitchen and food service.
