Amelia has been working in the mining industry since 2019 where she started as an underground truck operator which sparked interest in the planning processes of the mine. This interest led into receiving an offer to join the mines Short Term Scheduling department, in which her and the team create the 14-day underground mining plan. This current role involves participation and endorsement of continuous process improvement, communication with stakeholders and customers on a daily basis (verbally & via email), problem solving, coaching and training exercises with the front line staff and much more. Amelia's career experience prior to mining was in the fitness industry where she lead a team of Personal trainers at F45 in Adelaide. This role helped to develop good communication and relationship building skills, good business development understanding, strong organisational skills & the ability to present and communicate to a large group. With a strong work ethic and initiative, welcoming and bubbly personality and the willingness to learn, Amelia is able to fit into different environment easily and have a positive impact on a work place and team.
